Hello,
Thank you for looking at my page. I have added everyone as a friend in the hope that at least some of you will see this and maybe read it.
Ok, so my story goes......
Yesterday someone made several racist remarks towards me in the chatroom. The person that did this is a guy called Oliver. You can see a screen grab of the beginning of our conversation in my pictures. My response was to tell him to fuck off, and we had a huge arguement.
Oliver is a Nazi cunt who should not be allowed to remain on this website.
When I told two moderators (I shall not name them) in the chat room what had happened one of them was very sensible and said what I would have done which was "OK, we will look into this".
That is the correct response in my opinion. Then to ascertain the facts, and then to take action if it was necessary.
However, the other moderator told me that I should just "deal with it" and "ignore it". This is the real reason I am writing this. IN MY OPINION RACISM SHOULD NEVER EVER BE IGNORED. YOU SHOULD FIGHT IT EVERYTIME YOU SEE IT. WHETHER IT IS DIRECTED TOWARDS YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE. It is because people choose to ignore racism that it is allowed to propogate. The Mod told me that people are racist and thats that. I DISAGREE, RACISM CAN BE DEFEATED. I think his views are totally incorrect, and seeing as he is part of the establishment here, and more importantly, the unbelieveable lack of support from a large amount of people in the chatroom when this was happening I am leaving this site.
I do not wish to be a part of a community that ignores (WHICH IS IN MY OPINION, CONDONING) racism. I think it is disgusting.
Just a side not to the moderator that told me to ignore it. I really wish my grandparents could have just "ignored" the poison when they were being gassed to death in a concentration camp.
He told to go to a political chatroom. My point is that I did not want to discuss politics. I just dont want to have people beinf racist towards me.
I just hope that at least some people will see this message and maybe stop and think for a little bit.
It is a shame because I met some wonderful people here in the short space of time I was a member. Katrina, Jill, Scrumptious, Sinsation, Dirty_D, Easy, Creamtease and anyone else I had the pleasure of spekaing to in the chatroomm I will miss you and I wish you the best. If anyone wants my email address to keep in contact then send me a PM.
Many will ignore this. Many will think I am being a drama queen. But just stop and think for a minute and you will realise that ignoring racism is the worse thing you can possible do.
